How to Deactivate your Facebook Account

To Deactivate your Facebook account follow the below steps.

1.  Click the Account Menu  at the top of your Facebook Page.

2. Click on Settings.

3. Click on Security on the Left side of your screen.

4. Click on Deactivate your account on the Bottom right of the page to deactivate your Facebook        
    account.

Please note that Deactivating the Facebook account is different from deleting it so if you login to your Facebook account it will get activated and to delete your account you have to mail them.
